We assist with DMA (double materiality assessment) and CSRD — especially for smaller companies that are not directly covered by CSRD but still have everything to gain from understanding what their customers will expect
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
HSE – Health, Safety & Environment, work with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, continuous improvement, ensuring legal compliance, environmental reporting, risk assessments and the development of processes for these areas, crisis preparedness, business continuity plans, and systematic work environment management.
Continuous improvement and quality
Continuous improvement, Kaizen events, training and development of root cause analysis methods, work with cultural improvement in both quality and HSE, Quality Assurance, process mapping, value stream analysis, as well as the development of processes and management systems.
Interim solutions
Strandkälla can support you when a key piece suddenly goes missing or when recruitment takes longer than expected. We offer interim solutions within sustainability, HSE, quality, and project management — primarily in leadership roles, but also in specialist positions. We are happy to help drive change within these roles.
Project management
Project management within change initiatives, system implementations, integrations, administrative projects, as well as customer-facing project delivery, and development‑intensive projects within R&D and product development. Technical project management.

Our team
Birgitta Källstrand
Birgitta holds a PhD and has spent 20+ years working at ABB Corporate Research and Hitachi Energy Research as a development engineer, R&D project manager, and department manager. In her manager role, she was heavily involved in HSE-related tasks and responsibilities. In 2022, Birgitta founded AB Strandkälla and has since been working as a consultant. Assignments have so far primarily been within the HSE field, but she has the competence to take on many other types of roles. Current focus areas include legal compliance, internal audits, environmental reporting, and continuous improvement.

Jakob Källstrand
Jakob has over 25 years of experience, with a consistent focus on improvements — both in the quality domain and in larger transformative projects. He has held several local and global quality management roles. Jakob has a strong background in leadership management, strategy work, internal audits, and second- or third-party audits (such as ISO audits). Other areas of expertise include sustainability, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), and BCP (Business Continuity Plan). Jakob possesses excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills and holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
